The course is fully realized in an online learning environment (Moodle) as independent study. You are also welcome to the following start-meeting, if you need additional guidance:

Themes related to management and entrepreneurship are studied from a broad perspective. You have the opportunity to acquire skills that you can apply in your work in Finland and elsewhere.

Student workload

The course requires careful time planning (135 hours/student). Pay attention to the implementation time of the course. The course ends 19.5.2025.

You define the principles of entrepreneurship in social services, healthcare and physical exercise and their significance as part of the service system.
You define comprehensive client care in accordance with your responsibilities.
You identify the significance of changes in healthcare and act in accordance with your responsibilities during changes.

You can lead your own activities and apply the principles of internal entrepreneurship.
You justify the team’s resources and prioritise tasks and related responsibilities.
You apply your entrepreneurial skills in social services, healthcare and physical exercise to service systems in your field.
You coordinate comprehensive client care in accordance with your responsibilities.
You are aware of the significance of changes in healthcare and act, with justification, in accordance with your responsibilities during changes.
