Objective

After completion of the course the student is able to
- construct search terms and sentences for her/his topic
- search information using different search strategies and channels
- evaluate information sources critically
- use reference manager.

Teaching profile: ONLINE 2 (and FACE-TO-FACE).
Online course, also the possibility to participate in contact teaching.

Accomplishment methods

Assignments in Moodle, systematic information search of your topic.

- Search terms for her/his topic
- Searches in the different search services
- Critical evaluation of information sources
- Use of reference management system

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Fail: Performance is highly deficient or incorrect.

Pass: Performance corresponds to the assignment.

The course is most useful when starting the Bachelor’s Thesis.
