Objective

After successful completion of the course, the doctoral researcher will:
- be familiar with the basics of research data management
- be familiar with the research data management services of the University of Lapland
- know how to make a data management plan.

This self-study course can be taken in your own pace, and it is conducted online.

Accomplishment methods

Independent completion of required self-study materials and data management plan.

Content

This course is largely based on a self-study course provided by CSC which contains the basics of research data management and data management planning. In addition to completing the course provided by CSC, the doctoral researcher is required to familiarize themselves with the research data management services and resources of the University of Lapland, and to write a data management plan

You can take the course in your own pace anytime between 1 September and 31 May.
