Objective

Key competence requirements:
The student can evaluate and oppose theses in a research community based on their background, implementation, results and reporting. The student can report their research and development activities as a whole, both verbally and in writing. The student can write a maturity test (media release) in the field of their thesis to demonstrate command of the field and the Finnish language.

Implementation:
- Independent and guided work, seminars and learning tasks.

- The commissioner’s evaluation and a self-assessment in accordance with the degree programme’s practices

Teaching methods

Ohjaus opinnäytetyön viimeistelyvaiheeseen liittyvistä teemoista, esim.:
- tulosten käsittely
- opinnäytetyöartikkelin kirjoittaminen
- kokoomaopinnäytetyön laatiminen
- mediatiedotteen laatiminen (kypsyysnäyte)
- opinnäytetyön julkaisuun ja arkistointiin valmistautuminen
- opinnäytetyön arviointiin valmistautuminen

Employer connections

Opinnäytetöiden työelämän toimeksiantajia pyydetään osallistumaan mm. valmiiden opinnäytetyöartikkeleiden esitystilaisuuteen.

Student workload

Opinnäytetyön viimeistelyvaihe tarkoittaa 270 tuntia opiskelijan työaikaa.
