Objective
Student is able to apply the acquired knowledge into practice in the practical training.
The student has developed his/her professional business skills, depending on the specific functions and tasks performed during the training.
She/he can foresee the career opportunities and needed skills for the future after the practical training.
Student is able to evaluate her/his strengths and weaknesses related to his/her professional business skills.
She/he is able to describe and evaluate the meaning of the given tasks and the knowledge required.
Student is able to plan, evaluate and develop the tasks and the knowledge gained in collaboration with colleagues and supervisor.

PROCESS
Before training
Enrolment to the training
ISP-discussion (tutor teacher)
Training info (responsible lecturer of practical training)
Training plan (workbook 1 - 4)
Training plan acceptance (responsible lecturer of practical training)
Practical training outside Finland- you contact to the international coordinator- Erasmus Learning Agreement for Traineeships (all students who will go to abroad)
-> After your Learning Agreement has accepted, you make SOLEMOVE (the international coordinator informs you).
OR
Practical training in Finland- you make a practical training contract
When you start your practical training
- you check with your mentor in the practical training placement the assessment of working skills (5 - 6 evaluation areas) and their competence levels
During the practical training
- you ask for feedback from your mentor about your learning and competences
- you write workbook
- you agree with your mentor the evaluation meeting before in the end of the practical training
- you prepare the poster (video, PowerPoint presentation, Pretz or some else)
Near the end of the practical training
- before the meeting you make self-assessment of your working skills and ask also to ask for peer-review/mentor's assessment
- you have a meeting with your mentor - you compare and evaluate yourself-assessment and mentor's assessment of working life skills
- both of you evaluate how your competences have developed and what would be good to develop in the future - you receive feedback
- you document a summary of this meeting to your workbook
At the end of the training
- you ask the mentor give to you certificate of internship (or the transcript of work) - with the list of the practical training tasks
- you complete your workbook and the poster. You upload to Moodle within a week after your practical training has ended.
Evaluation scale
H-5
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Fail:
The student is unable to meet the requirements of Advanced Training. He/she is unable to perform the duties and tasks of the training place and does not complete the assignments given beforehand. The student does not make or return the required training documents according to the instructions.
Pass:
The student is able to meet the requirements of Advanced Training. He/she is able to perform the duties and tasks of the training place and completes the assignments given beforehand. The student returns a practical training report and a work certificate.
