Objective

The student knows the basic duties and responsibilities of an employee and an employer
The student knows how to use electronic information sources related to labor legislation.
The student knows the principles and regulations of working time regulation and labor law, which are mainly based on the Working Time Act.
The student knows how to apply the provisions of the Data Protection Act, the EU Data Protection Regulation and the Annual Leave Act in their work and knows the obligation to pay sick leave.
The student has basic safety-related skills as part of general working community skills.

Labor legislation:
The student generally knows the basics of Finnish labor legislation and the essential regulations.

Security of the working community:
Students have basic knowledge related to safety and first aid as part of work community skills.

Level 2
Labor legislation:
The student recognizes and knows how to describe key labor law problem situations.

Security of the working community:
The student, as an employee, has basic competence related to safety and first aid as part of work community skills.

Level 3
Labor legislation:
The student understands and knows how to apply labor law in practice.

Security of the working community:
The student, as an employee, has basic competence related to safety and first aid as part of work community skills.
