Teaching methods
Rovaniemi hosts the Finnish Local Heritage Days in connection with the Rovaniemi Week on 9-11 September. As a part of the Local Heritage Days, the Homeland poster exhibition will open at the Rovaniemi Local Heritage Museum.
In the exhibition workshop, the aim is to design an exhibition for the Rovaniemi Local Heritage Museum, consisting of the posters created at the previous workshop (AGRA0506-3007 Poster Design / Scanography).
The exhibition workshop starts with an excursion to the Rovaniemi Local Heritage Museum, getting to know the exhibition space. The workshop provides an insight into the exhibiton planning in practice; your task is to execute the printing process of the exhibition posters, designing of the exhibition's hanging and lighting, and the implementation of the exhibition's signage, advertising and informational materials. Students from all education programmes of the Faculty of Art and Design are welcome to this workshop!
