Objective

You know the physiological effects of cold and understand the physical and psychological effects of cold on a person’s ability to function, health, and movement. You understand the importance of the cold to the implementation of exercise and know the risks associated with cold exposure and the appropriate methods to manage them. You take into account the requirements of clothing and protection against the cold set by northern conditions, and you know the most typical accidents related to cold exposure.
