Objective

You know Lapland University of Applied Sciences as a study environment and you know the services and systems that support your studies. You will develop your higher education readiness and skills as well as your information acquisition skills. You identify the factors related to your own study ability and well-being and consider how you can maintain your own study ability and how you can take care of your own well-being.

You know how to use digital learning tools and make the most of them in your studies. You are familiar with the study guidance system and you know the university's guidance actors. You will get to know the curriculum of your education and create your own curriculum under the guidance. You know the students and teachers in your group.

Location and time

Completion time of the course 15.8. - 15.9.2022. The student completes assignments in Moodle according to their own schedule.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Approved performance requires all Moodle tasks to be completed.

Approved: The student assesses his / her university study abilities and skills and introduces means of taking care of his / her study ability and well-being. He / she is able to use the services of the university library and knows the basics of information acquisition. He knows the services and systems that support study and the mentors at Lapland University of Applied Sciences. The student is able to use digital study tools. The student has drawn up a plan for his or her own studies.
