Objective
The student knows the basics of forestry and the current situation worldwide. He understands the diversity of processes in international forestry and the forest industry. He knows how many different factors affect the operations of international forestry, and he is generally familiar with the international criteria and requirements for the quality of operations. In addition, the student will learn to assess their impact and requirements on forestry operations around the world.
Content
Studies focus on forests, forestry and the multifunctional use of forests worldwide. The course deals with the world's forests from the perspectives of wood production and raw material flows, production and markets in the forest industry. At the same time, the socio-economic and environmental impacts of forests and forestry will be explored at both local and global levels. In addition, an overview of national and international forestry support and guidance systems will be provided.
