Objective
The goal is to familiarize yourself with the circular economy and its principles through current, related materials provided. Completion of the course includes familiarization with the materials provided in the Moodle learning environment and the completion of tasks, through which the student can evaluate the development of his/hers skills. After completing the course, the student has the basic principles of the circular economy, business models according to the circular economy, and basic knowledge of how the circular economy is connected to the activities of various sectors (e.g. industry, tourism and construction).
Content
Concepts of the circular economy, sustainable development, business models of the circular economy and the connection of the circular economy to the activities of different sectors.
Location and time
Autumn semester 2022, Completing the course is done independently, at your own pace.
The course is implemented 2-3 times a year. During the defined implementation period, the course can be joined flexibly, according to the student's own schedule.

Digital material in the Moodle learning environment (e.g. material summaries, publications, videos).
Teaching methods
Independent work: Familiarizing yourself with the materials provided in the Moodle learning environment, completing the assignments and the exam.

Completion alternatives
The studies are carried out by familiarizing yourself with the given materials. At the beginning of the course, the student maps the knowledge related to the content of the course with an initial test. The course contains four different sections, at the end of each section the student measures his own knowledge with an intermediate test related to the theme. After the last section, there is a final test that summarizes the skills.
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Passed/Failed. Passed completion of the course requires 80% correct answers on the section-specific tests and the final test.
