Online exam: The student has 60 minutes of response time. The exam ends at the end of the given exam period and after that he no longer has the opportunity to save the answers. All responses saved so far will be evaluated. There are three (3) performances.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
You are familiar with the relationships pertaining to social decision-making in the promotion of health, functional capacity and performance.
You are aware of the methods of organisation, service production and arrangement in social services and health sector as well as related control and oversight in Finland.
You are familiar with the essential and current operational programmes in social services and health and the essential legislation in health care sector.
You can guide customers to public-, private- and third-sector services in order to promote health and well-being in the social and health care sector.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
You are familiar with the relationships pertaining to customer-oriented social decision-making in the promotion of health, functional capacity and performance.
You are aware of the customer-oriented methods of organisation, service production and arrangement in social services and health sector as well as related control and oversight in Finland.
You are familiar with and can describe some of the essential and current operational programmes in social services and health.
You are familiar with and can describe the essential legislation in social services and health care sector.
You can provide customers with individual guidance to public-, private- and third-sector services in order to promote health and well-being in the social and health care sector.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
You are familiar with the relationships pertaining to customer-oriented social decision-making in the promotion of health, functional capacity and performance, and you can apply this knowledge basis in your field.
You are aware of the customer-oriented methods of organisation, service production and arrangement in social services and health sector, as well as related control and oversight, in Finland, and can apply this knowledge basis in your field.
You are familiar with and can describe and assess operational programmes in social services and health in a customer-oriented manner.
You are familiar with and can describe and asses the essential legislation in health care sector.
You can provide customers with individual and multi-professional guidance to public-, private- and third-sector services in order to promote health and well-being in the social and health care sector.
Assessment methods and criteria
Topic 1
Online exam: The student has 60 minutes of response time. The exam ends at the end of the given exam period and after that the student no longer has the opportunity to save the answers. All responses saved so far will be evaluated. There are three (3) performances. The total grade of the course becomes 50% of this online exam. Please note that the online exam is an individual exam. The best performance is considered.
At least 50% correct: T1
At least 55% correct: T2
At least 65% correct: H3
At least 80% correct: H4
At least 90% correct: K5
Topic 2
Case: Solving issues and problems related to the story of Erkki and Eila in groups of about 2-3 people. The groups work on the output according to the essay instructions of Lapland University of Applied Sciences and return it to the return box in Moodle.
Essay length 5 - 6 pages + bibliography. The essay is graded on the scale Topic 1 and it is 50 % of the total course grade.
