Teaching methods
Students from Lapland UAS, Kajaani UAS, Ulster University and Kempten UAS design new business models in mixed teams of students from the three countries.
The idea(s) could be related to starting a new business or an existing business willing to develop or go international.
The first part, a work-shop will take place on 12 to 16 December 2022 in Kempten, Germany together with German and Northern Ireland students.
In the second part the students' teams will continue the ideation and deliberation online to further concretise their business models.
The third part, a workshop/conference, will take place online on Spring (e.g. 4 to 8 April) 2023 during which the teams will pitch their business models to a jury, which will assess them.
Lapland UAS will sponsor part of the travel expenses to Kempten.
This is a great opportunity for students to network with Germans and Irish in Kempten during a week-long exchange in December 2022. Lapland UAS will support the exchange trip with 400€ per student. Students can earn 5 ECTS when they participate and cooperate during the exchange week, work online in groups and make a successful final pitch in April 2023.
This is a good chance for those who are not able to go on a long-term exchange abroad.
