Objective

The basic configuration of the routers is the core topic of the course. After completing the course, the student knows the basics of Cisco IOS usage technology, management, writing and changing the configuration, and examining the router's operation. The student also knows the methods of subnet and IP addressing design. The student knows the basics of configuration of routing protocols RIP, OSPF and EIGRP, as well as the basics of testing and troubleshooting IP connections.
After completing the course, the student will be able to design, build and maintain small routing networks. The student is able to connect the LAN to a larger IP network and define the IP and routing parameters required for the connection.
