Objective

Develop skills to implement sustainable solutions in primary production in the Arctic region. Recognize and appreciate cultural diversity in international teams and projects. Develop creative solutions and innovative approaches to problem-solving. Understand the unique characteristics of the Arctic region and their impact on operations.

Content

Sustainable practices, cultural competence, international mindset, innovation challenges, collaborative learning, special features of the Arctic operational environment. Case studies of sustainable solutions in various fields. Development and presentation of innovative solutions.

Further information

The students have to apply for the course via email to Henna Kukkonen and Kirsi Muuttoranta before 13.2.2025. The students will be selected based on the motivation letter, English skills and study performance.
