Objective

This course aims to introduce service design in the context of Extended Reality (XR) applications. To do so, this course discusses the basic concepts in service design, such as elements of service design and tools to implement service design. Such themes will be discussed through concrete examples in XR applications so that the student can start imagining the needs when designing service for XR applications. Additionally, this course also provides a reading about the current state of AI and service design.

Content

By completing the course, the student will have a basic understanding of service design in the context of Extended Reality. In addition, the student will also be able to use two key tools in service design, such as User Personas and User Journey Map.

Qualifications

This course is a beginner-friendly course that does not require prior technical knowledge on Extended Reality.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student is familiar with the basics and key techniques of service design.
