Objective

Students - Further develop their understanding of group phenomena, group dynamics and group processes in adventure education - Demonstrate an understanding of the functions of facilitation and reflection in adventure education - Understand the concepts of self-awareness and metacognitive skills and their relevance in adventure education processes - Understand the concept and significance of learning transfer in adventure education

Content

Students develop their skills in and increase their knowledge of planning, facilitating and evaluating the processes of adventure education for a variety of target groups and learning goals. Students deepen their understanding of recognizing group processes and increase their knowledge of using the different reflection methods. Students develop their understanding and comprehension of metacognitive skills and learn to facilitate learning processes that enable the transfer of learning. Students develop their understanding and comprehension of facilitating goal-oriented educational processes.
