Orientation to Product Design Facilities and Machines (1cr)

Objective

The student will develop skills for studying in product design workshop facilities and learn to safely operate machinery as part of the product design process.

Content

Familiarization with the laboratory environment and machinery used in the Faculty of Arts' product design facilities.

Qualifications

UMUO5001V24 Safety in Art and Design Studies 1 cr. The course is arrengage annually during the orientation week in the autumn and it can be also completed as an independent online exam.

Guided workshop orientation: 14 hours; supervised independent work: 13 hours. Face-to-face teaching in workshop facilities.
