Objective

To achieve a clearer understanding, through the nexus of art practice and creation, and the relationship between culture(s) and environment.

Content

The application of theory and practice towards explorations on adaptation and change, culture and environment, through artistic practice during the student's exchange period.

Qualifications

None other than to be an exchange student in the faculty of art and design.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Participation in the course is very low. Performance is narrow, superficial, or poorly matched to assignment. Execution may contain errors or ambiguities.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Participation in the course is regular. Performance corresponds to assignment, demonstrates understanding and the ability explorations on adaptation and change.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Participation in the course is active. The performance outlines practice and creation, and the relationship between culture(s) and environment. Made diary is an intact entity that includes justified self-thinking or critical reflection.

Execution methods

Seminar participation and field work 48 hours. Independent work 60 hours.

Accomplishment methods

Diary-based exploration and interaction via the arts in the Arctic. Teaching as arranged as face-to-face.
