Objective
After successful completion, students will have consciously dealt with their experience of a prolonged stay (internship or student exchange) in a German-speaking country, and they will have practiced their writing skills on level B1 or above.
Content
Participants keep an observation diary during their exchange (internship) or longer stay abroad, writing down their observations about life, student life / work-life, and their studies abroad. The diary is to be 10-12 pages long (not counting cover sheet, table of contents, etc., and using standard font size 11). It is to be kept in German.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
5-1/fail
Execution methods
Self-study. This course should be completed during a student exchange, an internship or longer stay abroad in a German-speaking country.
Accomplishment methods
Successful completion will depend on the informational values of the observations, and on the level of German used.
