They are able to flesh out this comparative picture of their culture with observations about its historic development and its everyday realities.

Content

Participants acquaint themselves with the Culture Dimensions Models by Geert Hofstede and Fons Trompenaars. They use the models’ paradigms (culture dimensions) to produce a comparative picture of their own culture in a global context. They then discuss the realities encountered within their culture using the categories offered by these models.
