Execution methods
The module consists of two parts: A & B. Both can be completed by literature examinations but you can also gain the credits for part A by a written assignment (about which you will find more information in Moodle workspace "Public International Law Courses in English").
A) 2 ECTS: (electronic) literature exam on Tanaka Yoshifumi, The International Law of the Sea (3rd ed. 2019), Part I: The Divided Oceans, Chapters 1-5, pp. 3-235).
B) 3 ECTS: (electronic) literature exam on Tanaka Yoshifumi, The International Law of the Sea (3rd ed. 2019), Part I: The Divided Oceans, Chapter 6 & Part II: Our Common Ocean, Chapters 7-14 (pp. 236-543).
The examinations are available as e-exams in the electrical exam service (called EXAM). NB. You need to pass first part A (either by the exam or the written assignment). The 5 ECTS of the entire study module will be registered after you have passed also part B. Total grade of the study module: A: 40% + B: 60%.
