Objective

Students
- are able to understand individual and social factors behind social work with adults: labour market status, education, income and social inclusion

- are able to describe the concept of social work with adults and its goals

- are familiar with the main work methods in social work with adults (preventive work, early support, rehabilitative social work, co-operation, structural work) and are able to apply these in their duties in social services

- are able to explain phenomena and special issues relating to social work with young people and adults and analyse their significance in people's lives in client relationships

- are able to apply the legislation concerning social work with adults and procure current research information
