You identify a critically ill patient and are able to assess the need for treatment.
You are able to describe the care path of a critically ill patient in different health care environments. You are able to plan, implement and evaluate the safe and comprehensive treatment of a critically ill patient based on evidence.
You know the basics of assessing, monitoring and supporting basic vital functions in intensive care and control treatment. You will familiarize yourself with the fluid and drug treatment and nutrition of a critically ill patient.

You describe the characteristics of disturbances of basic organ functions. You know the basics of how to assess the need for treatment of a critically ill patient. You will identify the stages of the care path of a critically ill patient. You describe the planning, implementation and evaluation of a safe and comprehensive treatment of a critically ill patient based on evidence.
You will identify the basis for assessing, monitoring and supporting the basic vital functions of the patient in intensive care and supervision. You can describe the basics of safe fluid and medication treatment and nutrition for a critically ill patient. You will describe some of the most common care methods used in intensive care and supervision and identify some of the devices used in intensive care and supervision.
You recognize the characteristics of intensive care and control environments. You recognize the characteristics of a multidisciplinary team in intensive care and supervision care of a critically ill patient.
You can describe the basic principles of meeting a critically ill patient and his/her loved ones. You can describe and identify the need for guidance and support of the critically ill patient and his/her loved ones.

You describe the basics of assessing, monitoring and supporting the basic vital functions of the patient in intensive care and control treatment. You will be guided to plan, implement and evaluate the safe fluid and drug treatment of a critically ill patient, as well as nutrition in the treatment of the most common patient groups. You know and know how to implement the most common treatment methods used in intensive care and monitoring. You are able to plan, implement and evaluate, on the basis of justifications, safe medication and fluid therapy, as well as nutrition in the treatment of the most common groups of patients with critical illness. You are able to safely implement the most common treatment methods used in intensive care and monitoring.
You know how to safely use the most common devices used in intensive care. Describe and justify the characteristics of intensive care and control environments. You are multidisciplinary critical in the intensive care and supervision work of a sick patient and you are able to utilise and evaluate your own competence as a member of a multidisciplinary team. You can partially or completely independently and professionally meet a critically ill patient and his or her loved ones. You know how to support and guide them professionally.
