SUORITETTAVA TUTKINTOTIETOJENKÄSITTELYN KOULUTUS - TIETRA (aikuiset)TUTKINNON YLEISKUVAUS JA TAVOITTEETTietojenkäsittelyn koulutusohjelma profiloituu tietohallintoon. Opinnot koostuvat asiakaslähtöisistä organisaation toimintaa tukevista projekteista. Opiskelijat osallistuvat erilaisten tietoteknisten palveluratkaisujen suunnitteluun ja toteutukseen. Opiskelijalla on mahdollisuus valita myös englanninkielisiä kursseja kansainvälisestä BIT-koulutusohjelmasta. Kansainvälinen opiskeluympäristö parantaa mahdollisuuksia työllistyä tietoteollisuusalan kansainvälisiin ja kansainvälistyviin yrityksiin.
Koulutus valmentaa opiskelijoita haastaviin ja vaihteleviin työtehtäviin, joissa tarvitaan asiakaspalvelu-, ongelmanratkaisu- ja tiimityötaitoja. Valmistuttuaan opiskelijoilla on valmiudet työskennellä tietojärjestelmien suunnittelu- ja toteutustehtävissä, ohjelmistosuunnittelijana, ohjelmoijana, tietokantasuunnittelijana, websuunnittelijana, it-projektipäällikkönä tai vaikkapa itsenäisenä ict-yrittäjänä. Työtehtävät voivat sijoittua myös multimediatoteutuksien, tietoverkkojen, tietoturvan ja organisaation it-ratkaisujen hallinnoinnin pariin.

Turvallisuusosaaminen: Tietojenkäsittelyn turvallisuusosaaminen liittyy työergonomiaan, työskentelytapoihin ja tietoturvaan.
Luonnonvarojen älykäs käyttö: Digitaalisuus mahdollistaa luontoa säästävien työmenetelmien käytön ja palvelujen luomisen.
Etäisyyksien hallinta: Digitaalinen työskentely on ajasta ja paikasta riippumatonta. Tuotosten levittäminen onnistuu tietoverkkojen kautta kaikkialle maailmaan. Opetuksen järjestämisessä hyödynnetään monimuoto- ja verkko-opetusta.
TKI-osaaminen toteutuu aikuisilla työelämälähtöisesti opiskelijan oman työn ja työpaikan tietoteknisen laiteympäristön, osaamisen ja tietohallinnon kehittämisen kautta.
OPINTOJEN RAKENNE JA TOTEUTUSTAPATietojenkäsittelyn koulutusohjelmassa tutkinnon laajuus on 210 opintopistettä (op) ja sen suorittamiseen kuluu noin 3,5 vuotta.
- Perusopinnot 66 op- Ammattiopinnot 84 op- Harjoittelu 30 op- Vapaasti valittavat opinnot 15 op- Opinnäytetyö 15 op
Kaikille yhteisiä opintoja ovat perusopinnot (66 op) ja ammattiopinnot (84 op). Opintoihin kuuluu myös harjoittelu (30 op), vapaasti valittavat opinnot (15 op) sekä opinnäytetyö (15 op). Opinnoista osa voidaan suorittaa kansainvälisissä vaihto-ohjelmissa.
Tietojenkäsittelyn koulutusohjelman kokonaisosaamistavoite jakautuu 3,5 vuoden aikana rakentuviin kompetensseihin. Kunkin opiskeluvuoden aikana opiskelijalle syntyy valmius hallita tietyntasoisia työelämälähtöisiä teemoja, jotka on jaoteltu seuraavasti:
1. vuosi: ICT-perusteet (EQF taso 1-2)
2. vuosi: ICT-kehittäjä (EQF taso 4-5)
3. ja 4. vuosi: ICT-osaaja (EQF taso 5-6)
