Objective

The student can communicate at a general level about medical radiation exposure, occupational exposure, and public exposure, as well as interpret radiation risks. They can communicate about the nature and magnitude of radiation exposure in daily work and interpret radiation risks. The student understands the general principles of radiation protection and can apply them in practice. The student is able to use procedures designed to optimize the protection of workers.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

To pass, the student must achieve the competencies specified in the course objectives.
Competence is demonstrated through an exam.
The final exam requires a minimum score of 60% to pass. A failed exam can be retaken twice.

The training comprises 1 credit and provides the qualification required by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health's regulation on the medical use of radiation for working as an assisting employee in radiation environments.
