Location and time
Active participation in the course's Zoom events is very important (see below). During these days, we will agree on common practices (for example, work done in groups) and study things that support your learning. Otherwise independent studies in an online learning environment (Moodle).

Materials
The learning material and literature of the study course with instructions is in the study course's Moodle workspace.
Teaching methods
The study course includes two real-time guidance webinars with following content:
1. Information and discussion about the study course's goals, implementation, learning tasks, evaluation of the study course and learning support.
2. Research and development work methods that support your learning in this course and that you will need in the near future, especially in the planning and implementation of the thesis that is part of your degree.
In other respects, you study the course independently in the Moodle online learning environment. Some of the learning tasks in the course are individual tasks, some are pair work or group tasks. The teacher responsible for this study period is available throughout the study period as mutually agreed upon at the beginning of the study period.
Exam schedules
You can do the online exams and learning tasks of the course according to your own schedule. Pay attention to the implementation time of the course.
International connections
In the course, you study the basics of research and development work and you acquire skills that are needed, e.g. in international cooperation. The skills acquired in the course create a foundation for possible further studies at the master's level in universities in different countries.

The evaluation of the course is based on the evaluation criteria according to the curriculum.
Online exams and learning tasks are evaluated on a scale of: 1-5/failed or passed/to be completed. The overall grade consists of the average of online exams and learning tasks.
