Objective

THIS IS MEANT ONLY FOR INCOMING DDP STUDENTS FROM FH TECHNIKUM WIEN.

The student performs project work in selected Lapland UAS projects in more advanced situations.
The student is able to deepen the knowledge about project work principles in more demanding projects.
The student works according to project work principles and is able to adopt new innovations to project work results.
The student can produce even more developed research data and results.
Project work topics can be related to Lapland UAS development projects or Lapland UAS R&D-department in real-life R&D-projects.

Content

Project work consists of:

- research and development work
- possible practical work (according to the selected topic)
- project planning and development; advanced project work management
- participation to R&D-project, more demanding projects
- development of existing environments and/or projects; more advanced functions
- implementing possible customer projects

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

(Grades 1-2)
The student participates almost to every action defined in the project and passes all the required mandatory tasks.
Fulfilling the tasks is successful partially independent as a part of the team but the student still needs a lot of help from the teacher and team.
The results and quality of the results fulfil the minimum requirements. There is some recurrent errors and formal lacks in the results.
The student aims to describe issues professionally.
Following the project plan is still partially unplanned and the student needs guidance in fulfilling the work requirements.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

(Grades 3-4)
The student participates to every action defined in the project and passes all the required mandatory tasks in given timeframe.
Fulfilling the tasks is successful almost totally independent as a part of the team, the work and results are done with good quality.
The student clearly handles the topics well and can present issues according to given instructions and rules.
The student can plan his/her own work based on the project plan and progress independently.
Timetable is under control, tasks are done and returned within given timeframe.
