Objective

The student will be able to - assess the impact of societal changes, including digitalisation, on multidisciplinary work ability support services and the service system - promote and lead goal-oriented and multidisciplinary networking and collaboration between different actors supporting employment - develop people-oriented and effective work ability support service pathways at organisational interfaces in cooperation with employers - strengthen ethical conduct, inclusion and equality in the development of employment and work ability support service pathways.

Location and time

The course must be completed between 5 January and 15 March 2026. Moodle will open on 5 January 2026. The student is responsible for scheduling independent study and the completion of assignments within the period 5 January to 15 March 2026. Orientation for the course will take place on the Moodle learning platform and also on the first remote study day via Zoom on 16 January 2026. Learning assignments and more detailed schedules will be provided in Moodle. The remote study days on the Zoom platform are as follows: 16 January from 9:00 to 16:00 13 February from 9:00 to 16:00 13 March from 9:00 to 16:00

The learning material will be announced on the course's Moodle platform, which will open on 5 January 2026.

Teaching methods

The modes of work for the course include online studies on the Moodle learning platform and remote meetings via the Zoom channel. Independent study takes place on the Moodle learning platform. In remote meetings, themes are explored in greater depth through presentations, discussions, and small group tasks. During the course, a development task is carried out in small groups (assessment on a scale of 1-5).

Exam schedules

There will be no examination in the course. Completion of the course consists of Moodle multiple-choice tasks (pass/fail) and a small group development task, assessed on a scale of 0–5.

Student workload

The course is worth 5 credits (1 credit = 27 hours of student work), totalling 135 hours, which consists of the following: Remote study days on the Zoom platform as follows: 16 January from 9:00 to 16:00 13 February from 9:00 to 16:00 13 March from 9:00 to 16:00 Independent study on the Moodle learning platform, independent information retrieval, and learning assignments. The student is responsible for creating their own schedule so that studying, completing the learning assignments, and submitting their work occur during the period 5 January to 15 March 2026. The study includes carrying out a development assignment in a small group, which requires the coordination of schedules within the group.
