Objective
Students who complete this course will understand the generic principles of service production and be able to apply them in the production, development, evaluation, procurement, and management of ICT services.

Methods of completion
Are you interested in learning how to generate benefits through information technology, using your expertise to develop and build services for customers or your employer? Or do you already have experience but want to broaden your perspective with methodological expertise related to production economics? The ICT Services course combines production economics methods with the development, procurement, measurement, and management of ICT services. The content is designed especially for students interested in information management and system services who want to learn systematic and consistent approaches to producing ICT services in an organization.

Materials
The course teacher distributes the material at the beginning of the course in the Moodle environment.
Teaching methods
Online lessons and self studies. The student who has completed this course knows the generic basics related to service production and utilizes them in the production, development, evaluation, procurement and management of ICT services. The course is a virtual Online - implementation in which the performances are based on independent study in an online learning environment and assignments. Recommend online lessons will be scheduled in the timetable. Lessons spoken language Finnish. The course begins with a pre-assignment, which, when returned on time, confirms participation in the course.
Employer connections
There is a business case exercise related to ICT services. With the exercise, students can train service planning, production and evaluation.
Exam schedules
There is no official course exam, but students will present their learning results based on the course exercises in end of the course.
