Objective

You will learn study-related and ICT skills essential for successful studies and career. You will be able to use various ICT tools effectively.

Content

The course provides skills in using information retrieval and AI services. You will gain an understanding of software development, operating systems, resource management, cloud services, cybersecurity, and the concept of programming. Additionally, you will explore the following topics:
- Studies and working life
- Myself and learning
- Word processing, presentation graphics, and spreadsheets

Teaching methods

The course consists of lectures and various assignments. It is teacher-led and includes group work and independent study.

Student workload

The scope of the course is 5 ECTS, which corresponds to approximately 133 hours of student work, or around 53 hours per week during the intensive period.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Fail – The student barely participates in teaching and/or is not active in assignments and submissions.
Pass – The student has participated in the intensive teaching period and returned the required assignments.
