Objective

European procedural law course prepares student to work as an attorney or a judge in a case, where one needs to apply and use the procedural rules of European law. The course deepens student’s knowledge and skills especially in procedural European law (European union/European human rights).

After the course the student knows how to use in practice European legal material and method of literal, aim-oriented and systematic interpretation.

1. Reading the cases of the Court of Justice of the European Union and the Court of Human Rights
2. The obligation to refer a question for a preliminary ruling
