Objective
Upon completing this module, the student should be able to discuss in depth various questions related to space law.
Execution methods
A) Written examination on von der Dunk, Advanced Introduction to Space Law (2020).
The written examination is available as an e-exam in the electrical exam service (called EXAM).

C) Seminar
NB. It is recommended that you study both parts A & B simultaneously as they are planned to support each other. Before taking part C, you need to have completed parts A&B. The 5 ECTS of the entire study module will be registered after you have passed all parts. Total grade of the study module: A: 20% + B: 40% + C: 40%.

Content
The core of international space law; launch services and space transportation; satellite communications; satellite navigation; remote sensing; manned spaceflight; environmental aspects.
Teaching methods
The module OTMEVAL0010 Space Law (5 ECTS) consists of 3 parts:
A) 1 ECTS: (electronic) literature exam: Frans G. von der Dunk, Advanced Introduction to Space Law (2020)
B) 2 ECTS: virtual lectures + lecture test (more information in Moodle workspace "Public International Law Courses in English")
C) 2 ECTS: seminar and/or a written assignment (more information in Moodle workspace "Public International Law Courses in English")
NB. Before taking the part C, you need to have completed either part A or part B.
