Objective

After completing this course, the doctoral researcher is able to:
- create a questionnaire that makes good use of the various question tools and settings available in Webropol
- publish the questionnaire either through e-mail to a specific respondent group or as a public questionnaire
- describe the submitted answers by using the reporting tool in Webropol
- transfer the data to SPSS software for a more in-depth analysis.

Content

On the Webropol course, emphasis is laid on creating questionnaires for different academic purposes and publishing them, and on describing and handling the data by means of the reporting tool in Webropol and SPSS.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Pass
The doctoral researcher is able to prepare and conduct a web survey by Webropol in order to gather data via email invitations. The doctoral researcher is able to report the results by using a Webropol reporting tool as well as transforming the data to the SPSS format. The doctoral researcher can understand essential characteristics of web survey methodology in the context of general scientific survey methodology.

Fail
The doctoral researcher is unable to prepare and conduct a web survey in order to gather data via email invitations. The doctoral researcher is unable to understand web survey methodology in the context of general scientific survey methodology
