Objective

After completing the course, the students are aware of and can perceive the special requirements of managent in international environments. He/she is able to operate in the ensemble of complex projects and is capable to utlise the functional structures of extensive projects. He/she is able to lead and manage, assign resources, develop and evaluate multicultural unit of work. The student recognises the challenges of multi-professional and multi-cultural projects and is able to utilise the opportunities offered by the variety of cultures in international management
- the meaning of international management in business today, the meaning of cultures in business organisations, types of international activities, international network/customer/joint ventures, participation in extensive international development projects and programs, methods and tools of international management, planning, execution and management of diversified international projects, setting of realistic goals, mapping risks and possibilities, a project in the context of an extensive ensemble of development projects or programs
- the importance of international project management
- the special management features of virtual international organisations.
