Learning objectives:

The student
- can describe the theoretical foundation of social work and social pedagogy and identify their objectives and tasks
- can analyse social work and social pedagogy work as a process and knows its key methods
- understands the thinking and practice of social work and social pedagogy as a part of the professional competence of a Bachelor of Social Services
- applies a work approach of social work and social pedagogy

The student can identify some of the theoretical foundations of social work and social pedagogy and the key work methods, and can apply them in client work under guidance.

Good (3–4):
The student has a good understanding of the theoretical foundations of social work and social pedagogy, knows the key work methods and can apply them in client work.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Excellent (5):
The student has an excellent understanding of the theoretical foundations of social work and social pedagogy, knows the key work methods and applies them well in client work.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Fail (0):
The student can identify barely any of the theoretical foundations of social work and social pedagogy or the key work methods, and cannot apply them in client work.
