Integrated Business Processes - SAP S/4HANA (3op)

Osaamistavoitteet

After the course student: -understands the basic concepts of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems through SAP’s Global Bike Inc case study. -identifies the essential workbench elements of SAP Fiori and its functionality in integrating company’s business processes -has ability to create and analyze transactions in different SAP business solutions, for ex. Quality management, Warehouse management, Human resource, Project systems and Enterprise asset management in order to support the value creation process of the operational business processes.

SAP ERP systems are currently being updated from ECC to S/4HANA, which provides companies possibility to benefit from real-time in-memory based data management of the business processes and various methods to generate, apply and integrate mobile applications to these processes. The course introduces the business processes in the ERP system and provides theoretical concepts and practical simulations in independent process units by using SAP Fiori. The objective of the course is to provide horizontal knowledge of the functionality of SAP ERP solutions in Fiori user interphase. The course includes: -Business processes in ERP -Navigation in SAP Fiori -SAP Global Bike exercises and cases in modular environment

- The student understands the business processes used in the system and is able to identify their points of convergence as part of a functional whole. - The student can name the main categories of data used in the system and understand the differences between them. - The student understands the most important elements of the system's organizational structure. - The student can navigate the system while guided. - The student has completed the practical case exercises without critical errors. - The student has passed the theoretical exam of the course with a satisfactory grade.

- The student understands the data elements needed to implement different business processes. - The student understands the differences and similarities between core business processes, supporting processes and administrative processes. - The student knows how to navigate the system independently. - The student has completed the practical case exercises with minor errors. - The student has passed the theoretical exam of the course with a good grade.
