Objective
After completing this course, the doctoral researcher is able to:
- actively participate in discussion in an international, multidisciplinary conference
- understand the current discourse in his/her/their discipline
- understand how an international, multidisciplinary conference works.
Content
The starting point is that the doctoral researcher participates in an international, multidisciplinary conference by giving a presentation.
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Pass
The doctoral researcher actively participates in discussions at an international, multidisciplinary conference, engaging with peers and contributing relevant insights. They demonstrate an understanding of the current discourse in their discipline. Additionally, they understand how an international, multidisciplinary conference operates.
Fail
The doctoral researcher does not actively engage in discussions at an international, multidisciplinary conference or contributes minimally without meaningful interaction. They show little understanding of the current discourse in their discipline. Furthermore, they do not demonstrate an awareness of how an international, multidisciplinary conference functions.
